Lynn Molina - Owner / Instructor
A Wilmington native, Lynn took her first ZUMBA® class in early 2012..
She discovered a passion for dance through ZUMBA® which also changed her life in amazing ways, both mentally and physically. As a Mother of two girls, Lynn felt led to share her passion with others while also setting an example for her girls.
Lynn began teaching in October 2012 as an Independent Instructor, later renting the studio space which is now home to 31 Fitness. She has since trained and obtained licensing in several fitness formats. In 2017, she obtained her Primary Group Fitness Certification through AFAA/NASM, leading her to bring Pilates and Barre fitness to 31 Fitness. Lynn believes in quality over quantity and limits class sizes in the studio.
Serena Qualliotine - Yoga Instructor
2012 - RYT200
2017 - RYT300
2019 - ZUMBA
Studying different dance genres has always been a passion for Serena Qualliotine, RYT500. During her youth, performing with the Pittsburgh Community Ballet Company in Pennsylvania, then studying dance education through college at East Carolina University, has allowed her to connect with expression and movement. Through dance, Serena was introduced to yoga.
As an adult, her practice of yoga strengthened as the need for a healthier and more balanced lifestyle was necessary. Since 2011, Serena has been helping others connect with movement and yoga. In 2012, she completed her 200 hour Yoga Alliance teacher certification under Martha Catz, M. S.,E-RYT 500, at The Yoga Connection, in Smithfield, North Carolina, and has enjoyed teaching the practice and philosophy of Hatha yoga since.
In December of 2017, Serena completed the RYS300 Kunga Yoga Therapeutics program at Wilmington Yoga Center, in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Serena embraces understanding the history, philosophy, and benefits of meditation with yoga, as well as the physical practice for all bodies, from beginners to advanced.
Wendi earned her 200-hour RYT certification through iThrive Yoga in Parker, Colorado, and her 300-hour certification through E.Motion in Wilmington, NC, althought she considers herself to be a life-long student. After turning to yoga for relief from several injuries, she soon found that yoga not only made her feel better doing the things she enjoyed, but it has also inspired her to become a better version of herself each and every day. With a practice centered around gratitude, healing, and joy, she has found herself incredibly grateful to have the opportunity to work together with her students to build a yoga practice and to really see how the teachings of yoga can affect daily life, both on and off the mat.
